Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if my geyser bursts?

Act quickly to prevent water damage. 1) Turn off the main water supply to your house. 2) Turn off the geyser breaker switch on your electrical distribution board. 3) Open a hot water tap to drain the remaining water. 4) Call us immediately.

Why is my geyser tripping the electricity?

If your geyser trips the main switch or earth leakage, it is almost always caused by a short circuit in a blown geyser element or a faulty thermostat. Our plumbers carry replacement parts and can fix this within an hour.

Water is constantly dripping from the pipe outside. Is it broken?

A few drips while the geyser is heating up is normal expansion. However, a continuous flow of water indicates a failing pressure reducing valve (PRV) or a faulty temperature and pressure (TP) safety valve. This wastes water and should be replaced.

Do you issue a Certificate of Compliance (CoC)?

Yes. By law, any replacement of a geyser or major geyser components must be signed off by a registered plumber. We provide a PIRB CoC which you can submit directly to your insurance company.
